Vauban et la fortification du Quesnoy au XVIIème siècle

The year 2007 was marked by the 300th anniversary of the death of Vauban. Throughout the year, the town of Le Quesnoy commemorated this anniversary with a series of events: evening walk tours, exhibitions, guided tours, drama … all in the majestic setting of Vauban’s fortifications.

The town of Le Quesnoy, the Tourist Information Centre and the writer Bernard Debrabant are pleased to present a new publication: Vauban et la fortification du Quesnoy au XVIIème siècle (“Vauban and the fortifications of Le Quesnoy in the 17th Century”). This book is the result of over a year’s work, research and study of original documents.
